Apollo joins Midnighter, becoming my second WildStorm mod. With inspiration from someone else's mod of Apollo, he is made from an Origin Booster Gold body. I thought it would be hard to find a head with the right hair for the pose, but that problem was quickly solved when I decided to use the head from the impaled victim on the HorrorClix Vlad the Impaler figure. Based on Apollo's powers, I figured my best option for a dial would be a Superman-like dial without the Superman Ally team ability. I ended up choosing the Icons experienced Superman dial. That gives him a dial that represents most of his powers and adds up to a nice 300-point themed team with Midnighter and a three point feat. The dial choice does create a slightly odd situation with Apollo having a higher attack value than Midnighter, but that's not really something to complain too much about.
